The Premier Difference

A Passion for Doing the Right Thing for Our Customers…Always

After years of building a reputable mobile service company, we found a need to be able to do more complex repairs, not easily done in the field, as our customer base had grown. In 2013 we opened our new shop in Brighton MI. Our 13,000 sq. ft. shop allows us to maintain and service any size job.

Many companies use inspections as a way to generate revenue and upsell the customer things they don’t necessarily need. At Premier Aerial & Fleet Inspections our priority is safety. Our customers return time and time again because we keep them safe at a reasonable cost.

We understand that it is not only hard to find honest dependable service shops, but it is even harder to find a company capable of meeting your needs when servicing your complex truck equipment such as a truck mounted crane or bucket truck.. Knowing this, we never take it for granted that we are one of the few companies capable of properly servicing and inspecting your truck or truck mounted lifts.

Many mobile service companies charge inflated prices to come out to you. They understand that you are willing to pay what ever it takes to get your machine back up and running. With 3 mobile service trucks, we are very often in your neighborhood and can split travel charges with other customers.  Even if we're not in your area when you need us, we can be there at a moment's notice for a fair and reasonable price.

We invite you to stop by and see our new 13,000 square foot facility at 988 Rickett Rd., Brighton, MI. where we have a full parts department as well as the ability to make both non-conductive and wire braided hydraulic hoses.

History & Background

Premier Aerial & Fleet Inspections was founded in 2002 by Jeff Lawrence, who grew up in a body shop started by his Father. When he graduated high school, Jeff joined the US Army as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic where he worked on forklifts, cranes and heavy trucks. Jeff was the mobile service mechanic in his unit, serving in Desert Shield and Desert Storm for a year. Once he returned state side and fulfilled his time in the Military he continued on into the field of heavy equipment repair and in 1998 began his career with maintaining and inspecting aerial lift trucks.

While working as a service manager for a boom truck company he saw something that could be done better and decided to open up his own bucket truck repair company. Starting as a mobile service company in 2002, he was able to repair customers trucks on-site or repair the truck at a later date if parts were needed. In doing this customer’s were able to still keep their trucks and not have them tied up for weeks at a time while waiting on parts for their hydraulic lifts.

In 2005 Jeff's wife Aimee joined him and brought with her several years of office management and IT experience, to help grow the company and improve logistics. She implemented programs and systems that not only allowed the company to grow, but helped provide our customers with better and faster service. Implementing mobile devices has allowed our customers to receive detailed inspection reports and invoices in real time, as our technicians are on-site servicing customers equipment. This has allowed our customers to be proactive in addressing safety issues immediately and not having to wait for reports for weeks, as most boom service companies tend to do.

After 11 years of building a reputable mobile service company, we found a need to be able to do more complex repairs, not easily done in the field, as our customer base had grown. In 2013 we opened our new shop in Brighton MI. allowing us to maintain and service any size job.

To this day, we are the leading boom truck repair company in MI.
